  • Williams lit the lamp on three shots and added a power-play assist during Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins in Game 6. If there's one thing you can count on, when facing elimination, Williams is going to find a way to get on the scoreboard. The 34-year-old veteran has now appeared in 19 elimination games in his career, scoring 14 goals and recording 12 apples. When the pressure is on, the winger delivers, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for the Caps to force a Game 7.

  • Capitals' Justin Williams: Records two points in win
    By RotoWire Staff

Williams had a pair of assists in Monday's win over the Flyers. The points were his first in the playoffs in a Washington uniform, as Williams set up a pair of third period power-play goals. As long as the Caps, currently on the verge of a sweep, keep winning and firing on all cylinders offensively, Williams should keep finding his way onto the scoresheet.

  • Williams finished the 2015-16 regular season with 22 goals and 52 points in 82 games. Williams produced his best totals in both goals and points since 2011-12 in his first season with the Capitals. Signed to provide balance to the top-six and experience for the playoffs, the 34-year-old winger proved to be a solid asset for fantasy owners this season. He'll be 35-years-old at the start of next season, so it's unclear how long he can keep producing at this level, but he should get every opportunity to contribute offensively in the 2016-17 season, so keep an eye on him in your drafts this Fall.

Williams netted a goal in Monday's win over the Blue Jackets. Williams opened up the scoring in the contest and also finished the tilt with a plus-2 rating. The 34-year-old has seen his production dry up a bit lately, as he'd been held off the scoresheet in three straight prior to Monday, but the goal was good for his 50th point of the season -- his highest total since the 2011-12 campaign.

Williams is up to 48 points -- his highest total since racking up 59 during the 2011-12 campaign.
