Tanguay (knee) skated Tuesday, Terry Frei of the Denver Post reports. Tanguay is still expected to miss at least another week of action with a knee injury he sustained on Nov. 6, but his return to the ice Tuesday is an encouraging indication of his progress nonetheless. Given his recovery timetable, the 36-year-old winger could potentially return to game action on Dec. 3 against the Rangers. Tanguay has tallied six points (two goals, four assists) in 14 games this season.
Tanguay (knee) is expected to miss an "extended period" of time, Tommy Chalk of Fox Sports reports. Tanguay will likely miss a significant amount of time as he recovers from a knee injury he suffered on Nov. 6. The team called up Andreas Martinsen to help lessen the blow of losing Tanguay, who's posted the second best plus-minus on the team with a plus-3 rating.

Tanguay scored his first goal of the year and added an assist in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Lightning. Everything the Avs did on offense in this one was accomplished by the line of Tanguay, Jarome Iginla and Nathan MacKinnon. The goal came on Tanguay's only shot of the game; he has just seven shots on goal over nine contests this year, the worst rate of his career, but has still managed to help fantasy owners with five points and a surprising 10 PIM.
