  • Knight scored his second goal of the year, added an assist and went plus-2 in just 10:04 of ice time Tuesday against Buffalo. That's now six points in 10 games for Knight despite the fact that he's averaging under 10 minutes per game at the NHL level. The 25-year-old has been a solid AHL player, but has never had much of a shot at the NHL level; it's hard to say whether he would be able to maintain or build on this scoring pace on a more premier line, but he's certainly earning himself the chance.

  • Panthers' Corban Knight: Goal in victory
    By RotoWire Staff

Knight scored a goal in 5:52 of ice time in Tuesday's victory over the Senators. Since being called up a week ago, Knight has put his stamp on the Panthers, scoring a goal and adding two assists in five games. While he's averaging 10:19 of ice time per game, a figure that won't move the needle for most fantasy owners, if he can continue this production in limited time, he might be in line for a bigger role.

  • Knight picked up the first two assists of his NHL career -- one on an empty-netter -- in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Devils. Knight had recorded one point in his first 10 games in the league, which have been spread out over three seasons now. This was his second game since being recalled by the Panthers, and he saw a bit of a bigger role on the third line with Brandon Pirri and fellow rookie Logan Shaw, but Knight still retains minimal fantasy value until he establishes himself in the league. Although he's produced some offense in the AHL, Knight's totals in the minors don't seem to point to a fantasy stud in the making.

  • Panthers' Corban Knight: Recalled Monday
    By RotoWire Staff

Knight was recalled from AHL Portland on Monday, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports. Knight's recall comes after Derek MacKenzie suffered suffered a lower-body injury Saturday against Boston. The former North Dakota standout skated in MacKenzie's place on the fourth line in Monday's practice, and looks set to continue there for Tuesday's tilt with the Isles.
