Colaiacovo will play Thursday against St. Louis after sitting out the previous game as a healthy scratch, reports Andy Strickland of Fox Sports Midwest. Colaicovo will replace Mark Pysyk (lower body) in the lineup and has served as a depth defenseman for much of the season. He'll likely take Pysyk's spot on the third pairing with Cody Franson. His fantasy value is minimal and is expected to log the least amount of ice time amongst Sabres defensemen Thursday.
Colaiacovo will be the odd-man out Tuesday, reports John Vogl of The Buffalo News. With Zach Bogosian (lower body) returning to the lineup, Colaiacovo will sit as a healthy scratch. With the Sabres undergoing a youth movement, Mark Pysyk and Jake McCabe will likely remain in the lineup. When Mike Weber (knee) returns, the Sabres will have a logjam and have some tough decisions to make.
Colaiacovo (upper body) will return to the lineup Tuesday night against the Lightning, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports. Colaiacovo reportedly will replace Mike Weber, who is dealing with a lower-body. He's valuable to the Sabres as a depth defenseman, but Colaiacovo doesn't hold significant value in the fantasy realm as he doesn't pick up consistent playing time.
Colaiacovo returned to practice Monday, reports John Vogl of The Buffalo News. Colaiacovo missed the past two games with an upper-body injury and it looks like he's ready to go for their next game Tuesday against Tampa Bay. The veteran journeyman has one assist in six games this season.
Colaiacovo (upper body) won't play Saturday against the Canucks, Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald reports. Saturday will mark the second straight game Colaiacovo will miss due to an upper-body injury he likely suffered in Sunday's tilt against the Islanders. Mike Weber will continue to skate alongside Mark Pysyk on the Sabres' third pairing in Colaiacovo's absence.
