Kings' Milan Lucic: Back in action Wednesday

Lucic has served his one-game suspension for his punch on Arizona's Kevin Connauton. Now that his suspension is over, Lucic will slot back into the Kings' lineup Wednesday against the Avalanche as a top-six forward. LA will be happy to have the big-bodied forward back in the lineup, as he has played well of late, tallying six points (one goal, five assists) in the seven games prior to his suspension.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Gets one-game suspension

Lucic received a one-game suspension for his punch Saturday on Arizona's Kevin Connauton. Lucic will likely serve his suspension Sunday, resulting in him being eligible to return to the ice Wednesday for the team's last game before the All-Star break. Tanner Pearson is expected to take his place alongside Anze Kopitar and Tyler Toffoli on the top line Sunday, but that won't last long.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Racks up 12 PIM in loss

Lucic was assessed a roughing minor and a game misconduct for slashing and then sucker-punching defenseman Kevin Connauton in Saturday's loss to Arizona. He finished with 12 PIM. While Lucic didn't get on the scoresheet, his temper tantrum helped fantasy goers in the PIM category. While the former Bruin was reacting to a nasty slash, there is a chance he could hear from the Department of Player Safety for his actions. Lucic has been a decent fantasy contributor this season, notching 12 goals, 29 points and 54 PIM in 47 games.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Now on five-game points streak

Lucic scored the game-winning goal Tuesday against Dallas. Lucic's 12th goal of the season is his first in 2016, and also extended his points streak to five games, where he has a goal and four assists. He's adjusted to life in Hollywood quite well with 28 points in 44 games, and has a good chance to post the fourth 20-goal season of his career. He is one of the league's most fearsome hitters and is a multi-category contributor in fantasy.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Dishes out two helpers in win

Lucic dished out a pair of assists in Monday's win over the Red Wings. Lucic helped set up the team's first two goals of the game before his mates tacked on two more in the final frame to deliver a 4-2 victory. The 27-year-old has seen his scoring drop a bit lately, but a strong second half could still help net the fourth 50-point campaign of his career.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Picks up two helpers in Ottawa

Lucic assisted on two goals while playing 20:02 in Monday's 5-3 loss in Ottawa. Lucic now has an even 10 goals and 10 assists in 30 games with the Kings. His astronomical 21.7 percent shooting percentage suggests the power forward might not be able to maintain his current scoring pace, but Lucic is still a good bet to top 20 goals for the fourth time in his career if he can stay healthy.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Contributes first multigoal game for Kings

Lucic scored two goals Saturday for the first time since March 28. The big forward now has seven goals and nine points in his last 11 games. Despite playing in only 25 games, Lucic is halfway to equalling his goal production for the Bruins in 2014-15, when he potted 18 goals in 81 contests.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Makes good on sixth goal of season

Lucic put the puck into the net Tuesday night against the Flyers, knotting the score at 2-2 in the third period of an eventual 3-2 shootout win. With such heavy traffic in front of the net, it was difficult to tell who turned on the goal light, but Lucic was the one who tapped it in for his sixth goal of the season. The bruising winger is on pace for 49 points and 282 hits in 2015-16. He's also shooting with a high degree of accuracy; Lucic has set 24 shots on goal and six have lit the lamp (25 percent).

Kings' Milan Lucic: Aggressive as usual in Saturday's win

Lucic had eight hits and scored against the Panthers on Saturday afternoon, helping the Kings to a 4-1 win. Lucic was all over the ice in this one and it helped him snap a three-game pointless drought. He's on pace for 46 points this season, two more than he recorded as a member of the Bruins last season.

Kings' Milan Lucic: Bags two assists in win

Lucic dished out two helpers in Friday's win over the Hurricanes. Skating on a line with Tyler Toffoli and Jeff Carter, Lucic has produced a goal and three assists in his last four games. The 27-year-old has only fired eight shots on goal, but he's racked up 14 PIM and struck once on the power play. He may no longer be the 30-goal guy he was with Boston in 2010-11, but Lucic is still good enough to be an effective top-six forward for the Kings.
