Cumiskey signed a one-year deal with the Blackhawks on Thursday after fully recovering from an undisclosed injury that was ailing him since late September. After signing the deal, Chicago placed Cumiskey on waivers with the expectation that he will clear them and report to AHL Rockford. Cumiskey is reportedly fully recovered from the undisclosed injury he's been dealing with since Sept. 28, and will be ready to suit up for the Hawks if they require his services due to injury or poor performance.
