Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Five helpers in two games since break

Voracek dished out two more assists Thursday in a 6-3 win over Nashville, adding a plus-3 rating. That's five assists in two games coming out of the All-Star break and a whopping 10 points over a five-game span for Voracek, who's been aggressively making up for lost time over the last couple months after he struggled to start the year. With his game looking about as strong as ever, look for Voracek to correct his shortfall of goals down the stretch -- he still has just eight to go with 33 assists, which is far more of an unbalanced line than his career norm.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Stays hot coming out of All-Star break

Voracek racked up three assists -- two of them on the power play -- in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Montreal. All three of the goals the Flyers scored on Mike Condon had Voracek involved, and his hot streak just keeps getting more impressive. Over the last eight games, Voracek has piled up 13 points and a plus-5 rating as he continues to put his slow start far, far behind him. Although he's still stuck on single-digit goals, Voracek's put 143 shots on net and has converted an uncharacteristically low 5.6 percent of them. All in all, he seems primed for positive regression in the second half.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Fires home two goals Wednesday

Voracek scored two goals Monday -- including the overtime game-winner -- in a 4-3 victory over Washington. Voracek has cranked it up a notch lately, rattling off 10 points over the last eight games. After a horrendously slow start, he's up to 36 points in 47 games and will need to maintain something resembling his current rate of production if the Flyers hope to battle their way into a playoff spot come April.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Collects assist in loss

Voracek collected an assist and three hits in Monday's 3-2 loss to Boston. Vorcaek now has 10 points in his last 10 games, a sure sign that he's decided to emerge from his offensive hibernation. Unfortunately, he faces the Capitals -- a team that has allowed the fewest goals in the league -- on Wednesday. That's likely to send him back to the den for a few more winks until he faces a more favorable matchup.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Continues offensive wakeup

Voracek tallied a goal and an assist -- both on the power play -- in Thursday's 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh. Well, the Flyers still aren't winning a whole lot, but Voracek is starting to look like his old self again -- he's racked up seven points in the last five games. Slowly but surely, his stats are starting to look more typical; the goal total's still still way lower than expected, but that could come up in a hurry with an extended hot streak.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Adds helper in shootout win

Voracek added an assist on four shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over Detroit. After getting blanked in the shootout round on Saturday, Voracek scored the game-winner in Sunday's shootout. While that's an exciting finish for fans, fantasy owners would love to see more goal production during regulation. His shooting percentage is way below his career average, so it's possible he could erupt for a streak at anytime.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Snags assist in shootout loss

Voracek collected an assist and four PIM in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers. Voracek assisted on the game-tying goal in the third period, but failed to convert his try in the shootout. Voracek has been an assist-machine this season, and unfortunately that's all he's been. With just five goals on the season, he's on pace for the lowest goal total of his career. He suits up again Sunday in Detroit.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Racks up three points against Bruins

Voracek scored a goal and added two assists in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Boston. Four of Voracek's five goals this season have come in the last 11 games, as he is finally starting to show the form that netted him 81 points last season. Owners certainly expected more than 29 points through 41 games, but Voracek's recent uptick in production suggests that those who stuck with him through the early struggles will be rewarded in the second half of the season.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Snags assist in OT win

Voracek assisted on the game-winner in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win in Minnesota. It's Voracek's third point in his last five games. It's been a disappointing campaign thus far for Voracek, who was drafted by owners who expected him to surpass the 81 points he tallied last season. Barring an all-out, offensive assault in the next two months, he'll likely fall well short of that. He's got the Islanders on Saturday, and he worked them for an assist earlier this season.

Flyers' Jakub Voracek: Tallies assist in Saturday's loss

Voracek collected a helper in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Kings. That assist, his 21st on the season, moves Voracek into the top 20 in the league in helpers. His overall point total, despite his recent resurgence, hasn't cracked the top 50, however. Still, Voracek ripped five shots without any payoff, smothering his career-low shooting percentage even more. The goals are bound to come as long as he keeps slinging the puck towards the cloth.
