  • Antropov Signs With KHL Team

News: Nik Antropov has signed a two-year deal with Astana Barys of the KHL, reports
Analysis: He had spent 13 seasons in the NHL with clubs in Atlanta/Winnipeg, New York (Rangers) and Toronto. He leaves with 465 points in 788 games.
  • Jets' Antropov Productive In Return

News: Nik Antropov managed a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to the Capitals on Tuesday night. He'd been out since April 2 with a lower-body injury.
Analysis: His goal brought the Jets to within one of the Capitals, but it was too little, too late for the Jets, who were the victims as Washington clinched the Southeast Division. With Kyle Wellwood (hand) out for the rest of the season, Nik Antropov will see plenty of ice in the team's finale this Thursday. Before being hurt, Antropov had collected just two points in his previous 10 games. As such, he may not be worth gambling on as the fantasy season ends, unless you're looking to have as many players play as possible.
  • Jets Get Antropov Back

News: Nik Antropov (lower body) will suit up Tuesday against the Caps, Gary Lawless of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Analysis: Nik Antropov, who last played on April 2, checks back into the Jets' lineup with 16 points in 38 games.
  • Jets' Antropov Making Progress

News: Nik Antropov (lower body) took to the ice Tuesday.
Analysis: Coach Claude Noel noted afterward that now that Nik Antropov is skating again, the forward could return to action later this week.
  • Jets Lose Antropov For Two Weeks

News: Nik Antropov will miss two weeks with a lower body injury, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Analysis: With Nik Antropov out, the Jets added some depth at center Wednesday by claiming Mike Santorelli off waivers from the Panthers.
  • Jets' Antropov Exits With Lower-Body Injury

News: Nik Antropov suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game and will not return, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Analysis: Details of Nik Antropov's setback were not released, but expect an update on his status as more information becomes available.
  • Jets' Antropov Nabs Goal In Loss

News: Nik Antropov netted a goal and was a plus-1 in a 4-2 loss to the Rangers on Monday night.
Analysis: This is good news for any Nik Antropov owners left. Since a modest five-game point streak ended in early-to-mid March, he's had just one goal. He could warm up in the final month, but is he really your only option?
  • Jets' Antropov: Points In Four Straight

News: Antopov notched his third goal of the season to open the scoring in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
Analysis: Nik Antropov also finished with a plus-1 rating in the game and has six points on this current streak (2 goals, 4 assists). After being off the fantasy radar for most of this season and falling off the map last year, it seems the big center is making a case for an addition to your fantasy lineup these days. That said, he's still one or two more solid games away from being worth consideration beyond deeper leagues.
  • Jets' Antropov: Three-Point Night

News: Nik Antropov scored his second goal of the season and added a pair of assists in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Leafs.
Analysis: Nik Antropov was in the right place at the right time on the opening goal of the game, as a point shot from Dustin Byfuglien hit his body and went in. He's only a legitimate fantasy option in deeper leagues right now, but he was named first star of the game and now has a three-game point streak going (one goal, four assists).
  • Jets' Antropov Playing Better Of Late

News: Nik Antropov managed an assist in Sunday afternoon's 5-3 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Flyers.
Analysis: Nik Antropov's helper was his third in the last four games. Although he only has six points in 17 games this year (1 goal, 5 assists) it seems like he may have woken up a bit lately. That said, Antropov needs to prove he can continue this recent stretch of production over an extended period of time before earning a spot on fantasy rosters, even in deep leagues.
