    • Former Coyote Erat Signs With KHL Avangard

News: Martin Erat signed a one-year deal Thursday with Avangard of the KHL, Igor Eronko of Sport-Express reports.
Analysis: Martin Erat made his NHL debut back in the 2001-02 campaign, and has spent the last two years with the Coyotes. Most recently in 2014-15, the 34-year-old played 79 games, accumulating 32 points (nine goals) and 48 penalty minutes. The Czech Republic native will now take his services overseas for the next season, and considering his advancing age, it's quite likely his NHL playing days are over.
    • Coyotes' Erat To Play In Worlds

News: Martin Erat will suit up for the Czech Republic in the upcoming World Championships, , reports Sarah McLellan of AZ Central.
Analysis: Martin Erat had another disappointing season with nine goals and 32 points, while sporting a minus-16 rating. His days of reaching the 20-goal and 50-point marks are clearly over at this stage of his career. The veteran is an unrestricted free agent and unlikely to return to the rebuilding Coyotes.
    • Coyotes' Erat Picks Up Assist In Loss

News: Martin Erat picked up an assist on the Coyotes' lone goal Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Ducks. He added one hit in the game.
Analysis: Martin Erat finishes the season with nine goals and 32 points, and a minus-16 rating, in 79 games. The veteran winger is an unrestricted free agent in the off-season and, with Arizona re-building, he is most likely destined somewhere else for 2015-16.
    • Coyotes' Erat Has Assist In Win

News: Martin Erat picked up an assist Thursday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres. He was plus-2 with three shots on the night.
Analysis: Martin Erat has reached the 30-point plateau for the first time since 2010-11. The decline in his production over the past couple of years has been stark and the veteran winger's best fantasy days are in the past, but he has at least ensured his playing days aren't over and is an option in deep leagues again.
    • Coyotes' Erat Playing Sunday

News: Martin Erat (upper body) will play in Sunday's game against the Canucks, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Analysis: Martin Erat made it through warmups without incident, allowing him to rejoin the lineup after an absence of just one game. He hasn't scored a point through his first eight appearances in March.
    • Coyotes' Erat Poised To Return

News: Martin Erat (upper body) appears likely to suit up Sunday against the Canucks, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Analysis: Martin Erat still needs to get through warmups without any setbacks, but it look like he's poised to return to action after missing Saturday's game against the Penguins. The veteran forward has failed to record a point over his last eight games.
    • Coyotes' Erat (Upper Body) Out Saturday

News: Martin Erat (upper body) will not play against the Penguins on Saturday, Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Martin Erat has been dealing with an upper-body injury of late and wasn't able to take part in Friday's practice. The 33-year-old will likely be a another game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Canucks.
    • Coyotes' Erat Misses Practice

News: Martin Erat (upper body) was absent from Friday's practice, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Analysis: The Coyotes are listing Martin Erat as day-to-day ahead of Saturday's tilt with the Penguins. With the team canceling its gameday skate for Saturday, the odds don't seem to favor Erat playing in the contest. Justin Hodgman was recalled from AHL Portland on Friday, likely in anticipation of Erat's absence.
    • Coyotes' Erat Leaves With Upper-Body Injury

News: Martin Erat suffered an upper-body injury in Thursday's game against the Avalanche and will not return.
Analysis: Martin Erat hasn't tallied a point since the end of February, and suffering an injury wont do anything to help the cause. He finished Thursday's contest with one shot on net in 11:34 of ice time. Erat's status should be updated at some point prior to the Coyotes' next contest, Saturday against the Penguins.
    • 'Yotes' Erat: Three-Game Point Streak

News: Martin Erat scored the Coyotes' only goal in Saturday's loss to the Bruins.
Analysis: Don't look know, but he's on a three-game point streak (one goal, two assists). And his 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) have come in 61 games -- that's a slight step up from his abysmal 29 points in 70 games last year. His fantasy best looks pretty small in the rearview mirror at this point in his career.
