Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Helps out twice in win

Zetterberg assisted on a pair of Pavel Datsyuk goals -- one on the power play -- in Monday's 3-0 win over Florida. It's been a season of decline for Zetterberg, thanks in part to not having Datsyuk alongside him early on, but he's been a little more reliable lately, notching six points over the last eight games. Zetter continues to play huge minutes on the top line for Detroit, and considering his track record, the thought of a scoring outburst over the season's last two months isn't far-fetched. At 35 years old, he's still got something left in the tank.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Picks up assist in loss

Zetterberg added an assist to a 6-3 loss to the Panthers on Thursday. Zetterberg has been a little less explosive since the new year began, with six points in 13 games. He also hasn't had a multi-point effort since Dec. 27, which isn't what you want to see from a premier fantasy player. He does provide a fair amount of consistency, but is no longer can carry the Detroit offense (or fantasy teams) like he used to.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Scores for second straight game

Zetterberg netted an insurance goal late in Friday's 3-0 win against the Sabres. Zetterberg has a goal in each of his last two games and fired five shots on goal in the win. Shooting the puck more has been beneficial, as Zetterberg has put more pucks on net (10) in the last two contests than in the first seven games of the month combined. If he continues to assert himself offensively, it will lead to good things for the Red Wings and your fantasy prospects.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Scores in loss

Zetterberg potted his eighth goal of the season Wednesday in a 2-1 loss to the Blues. Zetterberg snapped a four-game scoreless streak with the late goal Tuesday. He's struggled a little bit as of late, with only four points in his last 12 games. He still has 31 points in 46 games and doesn't go through these stretches all that often, however, and remains a fairly solid fantasy option.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Dishes assist in victory

Zetterberg picked up an assist in Thursday's 2-1 win against San Jose. Zetterberg continues to play solid hockey, as he now has 23 assists to go with seven goals in 41 games. He's unlikely to match last year's 66 points, but he can certainly still produce even after turning 35 in October.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Will play Sunday

Zetterberg (lower body) will play in Sunday's game against the Flames. Zetterberg entered Sunday as a question mark for the Red Wings due to a lower-body issue that may have occurred in Friday's game. However, he took part in morning skate Sunday and has already been given the green light for the contest. The veteran should once again center the top line alongside Dylan Larkin and Justin Abdelkader.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Questionable for Sunday's game

Zetterberg (lower body) is questionable for Sunday's game against Calgary, Red Wings beat writer Dana Wajiki reports. Zetterberg was apparently hurt in Friday's loss to Vancouver and his status is up in the air for Sunday's tilt. The Wings may err on the side of caution and hold the veteran out, as they are planning to call up a few players on Saturday.

Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Scores in shootout loss

Zetterberg scored his fifth goal of the season in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. After a three-game scoreless streak, Zetterberg has bounced back with a pair of points in his last two contests. He will not hit many slumps throughout the year and has 22 points in 27 games, which still makes him a reliable play night to night.
