Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Pots one in loss

Eberle netted a goal on his only shot on goal and added two PIM in a 2-1 loss to the Devils on Tuesday. Eberle was able to bounce back on Tuesday after not finding the back of the net in his previous two outings. In the five games since the return of Connor McDavid, he's got four goals and two assists. Look for Eberle to continuing living right and filling the scoresheet in the weeks to come.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Thriving with return of McDavid

Eberle racked up two goals -- one on the power play -- as well as a power-play assist Thursda in a 7-2 trouncing of the Senators. All the Oilers have to be thrilled to see Connor McDavid back in the lineup, but Eberle's been particularly enjoying it, having racked up five points in two games since McDavid's return -- that's more points than he put up in the eight games leading up to the All-Star break combined. It's been a disappointing, injury-shortened year for the incredibly talented 25-year-old, but with McDavid back, Eberle could explode offensively over the final 30 games of the season.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Collects two points Tuesday

Eberle notched a power-play goal and an assist Tuesday night in a 5-1 win over the Blue Jackets. Eberle looked rejuvenated with touted rookie Connor McDavid back on the ice following a 37-game injury layoff -- the pair connected for goals in the second and third period. Some fantasy players might look at the Oilers' record of 20-26-5 and immediately dismiss players like Eberle, but the reunion with McDavid should result in his stock vaulting into positive territory.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Nets one Monday

Eberle put the puck past Florida goalie Al Montoya in Monday's 4-2 win. Panthers defenseman Willie Mitchell coughed up the puck in his own zone and Eberle made him pay with his 11th goal of the season. Unfortunately, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, one of Eberle's linemates, sustained a long-term hand injury in the contest and that could have a negative effect on the 25-year-old's production.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Produces three helpers Tuesday

Eberle set up three goals Tuesday night, but his efforts were fruitless since the Oilers lost to the Coyotes in overtime, 4-3. The points keep piling on for Eberle as he has two goals and five assists over the past five contests. Still, the Oilers continue to struggle defensively, yielding 2.98 goals per game on average, and that has led to a minus-10 rating for Eberle in 2015-16. You just have to take the good with the bad when it comes to the 25-year-old winger.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Only two goals since Dec. 15

Eberle only has two goals in his last 10 games. Eberle does have five assists during that span so all is not lost here for fantasy owners. He also has points in five of his last six games and like many goal scorers, he can be streaky and it may not be long until Eberle starts to light the lamp again with more frequency.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Two goals including winner

Eberle scored twice Saturday, including once on the power play, in a 4-3 shootout win over the Coyotes. The goals snapped a seven-game goal drought. It's hard to believe that a guy with his talent has just 10 goals and 16 points on the season (27 games). But Eberle may be warming up. He has five points (two goals, three assists) in his last four games. Knock on wood, but maybe health is finally on his side.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Gets back on track with two-assist night

Eberle had two assists in Sunday's loss to Calgary. The multi-point effort snapped a four-game pointless streak for Eberle, who skated on the second line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Eberle is now up to eight goals and 13 points in 24 games on the season. The 25-year-old may be having a down year thus far, but he's put up back-to-back 60-point seasons and is capable of exploding any given night, so keep him rolling.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Bends twine against Rangers

Eberle scored his second goal in as many nights Tuesday against the Rangers. Eberle has been an offensive force in December, netting five goals and three assists in just eight games. The 25-year-old is logging over two and a half minutes of ice time with the extra attacker this season. Defensive miscues have resulted in a minus-11 for the the winger, but his consistent presence on the scoresheet is a significant upside.

Oilers' Jordan Eberle: Continues improved play with three points

Eberle scored a goal and added two assists in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over Boston. Ahh yes, it's another visit from our old friend "market correction", as seven of Eberle's 10 points on the season have come in the last five games. It's mind-blowing to think that he somehow managed just three points in his first 13 games, especially since he's averaged 0.79 points per game (294 points) in his first 374 NHL contests. Nevertheless, the 2008 first-round pick appears to be back on track and will look to help the Oilers to their seventh straight victory Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden against the Rangers.
