News: Salmela played 14:57 Wednesday in his return from ACL surgery.

  • Salmela to Return for Devils

Analysis: Salmela has been practicing the last several days following a conditioning stint in the AHL. Salmela is coming off ACL surgery and has a bit of an offensive flair to his game, however, with the way New Jersey is playing, it's hard to endorse a Devils blueliner. Give him a game or two to see how he handles his return, but expect him to see power play time immediately.
