    • Sabres' Szczechura Agrees To Play In Czech Republic

News: Paul Szczechura has signed to play in the Czech Republic, according to The Buffalo News.
Analysis: The 26-year-old had a bit of success in some brief time with the Sabres last season, but this is an organization with a lot of good prospects and as the season wore on others stepped ahead of him when call-ups were needed. Given Paul Szczechura's success at the AHL level - 21 goals in 57 games last season - we wouldn't be surprised to see him do well overseas and this may not be the last we've heard from him.
    • Sabres Send Szczechura To Rochester

News: Paul Szczechura was sent to Rochester of the AHL following Monday's win over Washington, The Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: The Sabres will have no problem recalling him again, as he even saw time on the top line in his most recent stint, but the team is finally getting some healthy regulars back on the forward lines and it's time for Paul Szczechura to keep learning at the AHL level.

Analysis: Paul Szczechura saw some time with the Sabres' top line with Jason Pominville and Thomas Vanek and has been producing in his limited action with the big club. If this role becomes regular for Szczechura, consider making a move for him in deep leagues and keeper leagues.
    • Sabres' Szczechura Gets Promoted

News: Paul Szczechura is expected to see time on the top line with Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville when the Sabres take on the Senators on Tuesday, The Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: We're not sure how long this will last, but Paul Szczechura is certainly making the most of the time given to him during injuries. He's still not seeing meaningful power play time -- just two seconds on average per game -- so there may be a limit on just how much he can produce. But his three points in four games and being used on the top line may make him useable in deep leagues in the short term.
    • Sabres Recall Szczechura

News: The Sabres have recalled Paul Szczechura from the AHL, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports.
Analysis: In his two game stint with the Sabres earlier this season, Paul Szczechura recorded two points (assists). He will likely play Friday against Carolina but he doesn't hold much fantasy value despite his success in those two games.
    • Sabres Send Szczechura Back to AHL

News: Paul Szczechura's brief NHL trip ended Wednesday, as the Sabres sent him back to the AHL, the Sabres' official Twitter feed reports.
Analysis: Paul Szczechura played in a mere two games but showed he is more than just the odd man out. He put up to two points in his first two games. These two points came in Buffalo's blowout win over the struggling Caps, but with the team's forwards returning to health, Szczechura is now back in the AHL. He could be back up again, however, if Patrick Kaleta isn't ready to play this weekend.

    • Sabres' Szczechura Returned To Rochester

News: Paul Szczechura has been sent to Rochester (AHL), the Sabres' official Twitter feed reports.
Analysis: His stay was brief, but he filled in well with a pair of assists in a win over Washington on Saturday night. He'll be an option again later this season if injuries open up the need for another forward on the Buffalo roster.
