Blues' Jordan Caron: Sent to minors Friday

Caron has been returned to AHL Chicago, Lou Korac of reports. Even when Caron was with the parent club he averaged just 8:08 of ice time in four games. It's believed that the Blues have demoted Caron to make room for Patrik Berglund, who is looking to return from a shoulder injury and could soon be activated from injured reserve.

Blues' Jordan Caron: Recalled from minors

Caron has been recalled from the minors, according to the official site of the AHL. The Blues have been hurting at the forward position for much of the season, but Caron adds a healthy body with St. Louis going back to work Saturday night, hosting the high-flying Stars. Generally, players shuttling between the organizational ranks don't hold much weight in fantasy leagues and Caron is no exception, though he does look big on the ice at 6-foot-3, 204 pounds.

Blues' Jordan Caron: Returned to AHL Chicago

Caron was returned to AHL Chicago on Wednesday. Caron got 9:22 of ice time in his only NHL game this season, recording two hits and no shots on goal. For AHL Chicago, he has nine goals and 14 points in 25 games with 30 penalty minutes. The 25-year-old former first round pick in 2009 has struggled to gain real traction in the NHL throughout his career, but is turning into the heavier hitter he needs to be in order to get run at the highest level.

Blues' Jordan Caron: Recalled from AHL Chicago

Caron was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday, Lou Korac of reports. Caron has yet to play in a game with the Blues so far this season, so don't expect any significant production moving forward despite being called up to the Blues. It wouldn't be surprising to see him reassigned in the near future.

  • Caron Signs Two-Way Deal With Blues

News: Jordan Caron signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Blues on Thursday.
Analysis: Jordan Caron saw time with the Bruins and Avalanche last season, but failed to register a single point in 30 games. The Blues boast an overwhelming stable of talent at forward, so it seems unlikely that he'll be able to claim a roster spot with the team out of training camp. Look for him to head to AHL Chicago to open the 2015-16 campaign.
  • Caron Traded To Avs

News: The Bruins traded Jordan Caron and a 2016 sixth-round draft pick to the Avs on Monday in exchange for Maxime Talbot and Paul Carey, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Jordan Caron, who has been held without a point in 11 games with the Bruins this season, was a first-round draft pick (25th overall) in 2009. After having recorded just 28 points in 134 career NHL contests with Boston, however, a change of scenery will probably do the 24-year-old winger some good, though a wait-and see approach is in order from a fantasy perspective.
  • Bruins Recall Caron

News: Jordan Caron was recalled from AHL Providence on Sunday, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports.
Analysis: Jordan Caron was reassigned to AHL Providence on Tuesday likely to get him some more ice time, as he hasn't seen much with the Bruins this season. He will return to the team Sunday, and would be an option if any of the team's skaters are unavailable Monday against the Red Wings.
  • Bruins Reassign Caron

News: Jordan Caron was reassigned to AHL Providence on Tuesday, Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe reports.
Analysis: The Bruins won't play their next game until Friday, so it could be the case where the Bruins are just trying to have him pick up some extra ice time in the minors before rejoining the team. Jordan Caron skated for just 3:35 in Monday's game against the Penguins.
  • B's Recall Caron

News: Jordan Caron has been recalled by the Bruins.
Analysis: He's been up and down a few times this season, so it's no lock that Jordan Caron will suit up against the Penguins on Monday night.
  • Bruins Assign Caron To AHL

News: Jordan Caron was assigned to AHL Providence on Sunday.
Analysis: Jordan Caron was recalled Saturday, but didn't play in the game and will now head back to AHL Providence. He has played in one game with the Bruins in 2014-15 but failed to record a point and posted a minus-1 rating. He has been much more productive at AHL Providence, where he has nine points (five goals, four assists) in nine games with the club.
