Analysis: Mat Clark played in seven NHL contests with the Ducks last season, managing to register a single point in those games. After being acquired by the Avalanche in March, Clark tallied seven total points (one goal, six assists) in 66 games with AHL Lake Erie. Analysis: Mat Clark played 23 games in Norfolk a year ago and will start the season in the minors this season. It's unlikely he will be recalled any time soon, considering the defensive depth the Ducks currently have.

He had 10 points in 71 AHL games last year.
