    • Jets Renounce Rights To Holland

News: Patrick Holland wasn't extended a qualifying offer by the Jets on Monday and will become an unrestricted free agent, Tim Campbell of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland had already negotiated a deal to play for HPK of the Finnish Elite League this season, but Monday's transaction will allow him to join any NHL organization if and when he decides to return to North America. The 23-year-old didn't appear in any NHL games last season after skating in five for the Canadiens in 2013-14.
    • Habs Trade Holland To Jets

News: Patrick Holland was traded to the Jets on Sunday, Dave Stubbs of The Gazette reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland and Peter Budaj were packaged in a deal for the Jets' Eric Tangradi. He played in five games for the Canadiens last season, and had six goals and 17 points with AHL Hamilton. Holland will likely continue to serve mainly in the AHL again this season.
    • Habs' Holland Working On Strength, Foot Speed

News: Patrick Holland, who took part in Montreal's recently completed development camp, has been working to add strength and foot speed, the Montreal Gazette reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland scored a couple of goals in the development camp's scrimmage as he looks to alter perceptions following a disappointing season with Hamilton of the American Hockey League. The Canadiens are thin at the right wing position, so Holland, who played five games with the Canadiens early last season, could get a close look in training camp.
    • Habs' Holland Struggles In Hamilton

News: Patrick Holland scored just six goals in 55 games for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League, the Hamilton Spectator reports. He's been a healthy scratch in a handful of games late in the season.
Analysis: More was expected of Patrick Holland, who came to Montreal from Calgary in the Rene Bourque deal two years ago. He had 28 points in his first season with the organization while skating on the AHL's worst team. In 2013-14, he was given plenty of opportunity on the man advantage and on the top two lines, but was unable to make an impact. Personnel changes are likely for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in three seasons and it's looking like Holland may be a casualty.
    • Leafs Recall Holland

News: Patrick Holland was recalled form AHL Hamilton on Saturday, David Alter of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland was last with the team on March 19 but hasn't recorded a point with the team since January. It looks as though he might get his chance to add another point on Saturday when the Leafs take on the Senators.
    • Montreal Reassigns Holland

News: The Canadiens reassigned Patrick Holland to AHL Hamilton on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: George Parros (concussion) is close to returning, and could potentially be back before Friday's game against Minnesota, so Patrick Holland is no longer needed in Montreal for the time being.
    • Canadiens' Holland Remains In NHL

News: Patrick Holland, who was to be reassigned to Hamilton of the American Hockey League, will remain with Montreal and make the trip to New York for Monday's game against the Rangers, Hockey Inside Out reports.
Analysis: With George Parros (concussion) close to returning, Patrick Holland doesn't have much time left with the parent club.
    • Canadiens Return Holland To AHL

News: Patrick Holland was reassigned to Hamilton of the American Hockey League following Saturday night's loss to the Sharks, Hockey Inside Out reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland was a temporary fill-in for Montreal when several forwards were lost to injury. His reassignment to the AHL suggests George Parros (concussion) is ready to return to active duty.
    • Canadiens' Holland Makes NHL Debut

News: Patrick Holland made his NHL debut in Tuesday night's loss to the Oilers. He skated on the fourth line getting 6:26 of ice time while working on the penalty-kill unit as well.
Analysis: The young forward will be on the active roster until one of several injured forwards are ready to return. George Parros (concussion) is probably the closest to returning.
    • Holland Recalled By Habs

News: Patrick Holland was recalled from AHL Hamilton by the Canadiens on Monday, Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette reports.
Analysis: Patrick Holland scored his first professional goal in Friday's game with AHL Hamilton and will make his NHL debut in a depth-line role for Montreal.
