    News: Ben Holmstrom will have surgery on his right knee Thursday, CSN Philly reports.
    Analysis: Ben Holmstrom may have an ACL tear but general manager Paul Holmgren said, "We won't know the significance and damage until the doctor gets in there," Holmgren said. "He has a cartilage issue with that ACL that was repaired when he was 17. So, this is a re-injury of the same knee. We're hoping it's just stretched and they don't have to [fully repair] it." If the injury is an ACL tear, he will be looking at a road to recovery that will take months.
