    News: After a successful rookie season at AHL Hamilton, Brendon Nash has moved up the Canadiens' organizational depth chart, the Montreal Gazette reports.
    Analysis: Brendon Nash, who had five goals and 25 assists in 75 games for the Bulldogs, also had a two-game taste of life in the NHL. He's getting a more watchful eye during training camp as the Canadiens assess the status of Andrei Markov's twice-surgically repaired knee. Nash is expected to start the season at Hamilton, but he'll be on the short list of call-ups should injuries hit Montreal's blue line.
  • Nash Makes NHL Debut For Montreal

    News: Nash made his NHL debut Tuesday night, filling in for the injured Jaroslav Spacek (lower body) in Montreal's shootout loss to Buffalo.
    Analysis: Nash, a free agent signed last spring after graduating from Cornell, blocked four shots and had two shots on goal in 11:53. Spacek will travel with the Habs to Western Canada, but Nash will be on the trip, too.
