      Panthers' Jonathan Huberdeau: Starts season with two assists

      Huberdeau has provided the Panthers with two assists and has a plus-2 rating since the start of the 2015-16 season. Huberdeau is off to a solid start for the Panthers. The 22-year-old, who was drafted third overall in 2011, could be more productive in the future as he's already proved to be a solid player by being awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy in 2013.

Huberdeau's bridge deal will pay him $2.5 million this season and $4 million in 2016-17. The former Calder Trophy winner is slated to skate on a top line that includes young upstart center Aleksander Barkov and NHL luminary Jaromir Jagr, which could lead to another step forward offensively in his fourth season with the Panthers.
