Canucks' Alexandre Grenier: Reassigned to AHL Utica

Grenier was reassigned to AHL Utica on Tuesday. Grenier was recalled Monday so that he would be available for Wednesday's matchup with Carolina if Brandon Prust (leg) was unable to play. Prust is now fully expected to suit up for Wednesday's tilt against the Hurricanes, so the Canucks are no longer in need of Grenier as a source of insurance. The 24-year-old winger has played in one game with Vancouver this season, logging four shots on goal in that contest.
