Granlund had several turnovers and was a minus-2 in Saturday's loss to Nashville, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. He has no non-empty-net goals in the past 26 games. Wild's Mikael Granlund: Busts slump via three-point night

Granlund broke out of a slump Tuesday, ending a five-game pointless skid with two assists, an empty-net goal and a plus-3 rating. The fact that the goal didn't come against a goalie won't bother many fantasy owners, but it remains a fact that Granlund hasn't scored since Nov. 21. Until this recent slide, though, he had been producing points at a pretty regular rate; Tuesday's bust-out should help the 23-year-old gain the confidence he needs to continue producing. Of course, centering Zach Parise certainly doesn't hurt.

Wild's Mikael Granlund: Moves to second power play unit

Granlund was demoted from the Wild's top power play unit to the second unit in Friday's overtime loss at Arizona. Granlund had three shots on goal but no points in 16:20 of ice time. Granlund still had 1:27 of power play ice time, so this may not have a huge impact. The Wild power play has struggled (as usual) as Minnesota is just 6-for-49 in the past 15 games. Jason Pominville replaced Granlund on the top unit.

Wild's Mikael Granlund: Adds two helpers in win

Granlund assisted on both Wild tallies in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Blackhawks. The center continued his recent hot streak, and now has six points in his last five games. With three goals and 12 assists through 23 games on the year, his past seasons suggest he'll probably cool off soon, so his fantasy trade value may never be higher than it is right now.

Granlund has tallied one goal and four assists in 13 games this season. The past two seasons Granlund has proved he is consistent, as evidenced by his 39 and 41 point seasons respectively. Granlund started the 2015-16 season off red hot as he posted four points in three games, since then, he has recorded a lone assist in 10 games. The 23-year-old playmaker has prospered on the first-unit power play where he has recorded two assists and averaged three minutes of ice time a game.
