Blues' Dmitrij Jaskin: Collects two assists

Jaskin assisted on a pair of goals in Sunday's win over the Jets. The 22-year-old hadn't made much of an impact through the first five games, but Jaskin was able to collect the primary assist on both of the Blues' first two goals. He's currently skating in a bottom-six role, but more productive contests like Sunday's could lead to a promotion.

Analysis: Dmitrij Jaskin's offensive production has slowed down quite a bit - since the start of March he has just two goals and an assist in 18 games and he was a healthy scratch recently. News: Dmitrij Jaskin will be a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against the Penguins, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Analysis: With Dmitrij Jaskin failing to tally a mark on the score sheet for the last 10 games, he'll head to the press box for the first time since Jan. 17. His overall ice time and his time on the power play have increased steadily resulting in more than 1:20 of ice with the man advantage each of the last four games. He remains a depth guy in most fantasy leagues, but he is second on the Blues in goals per 60 minutes played and could earn more ice time with his recent performance.
