Ducks' Shea Theodore: Reassigned to AHL San Diego

Theodore was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday. Theodore was demoted Wednesday so that he can continue to skate with AHL San Diego during the NHL's upcoming All-Star break. The 20-year-old blueliner has played well for the Ducks this season, tallying six points (two goals, four assists) in 13 games. He'll likely be recalled by the big club prior to the Ducks' next contest, which is scheduled for Feb. 2 against the Sharks.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Cranks out two more points

Theodore scored on the power play and added an assist Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Boston. He still only played a meager 16:55, but with six points in the last six games, Theodore's rapidly becoming an invaluable member of Anaheim's blue-line mix. The Ducks certainly haven't been hesitant about rolling their 2013 first-rounder out on the power play with Cam Fowler (knee) out of the lineup, but the 20-year-old Theodore could still be ticketed for a return to the AHL ranks soon if Fowler's able to get healthy over the All-Star break.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Scores first NHL goal

Theodore scored his first NHL goal Wednesday against the Senators, potting a power-play tally with 4:55 left in a 4-1 win. Theodore's goal made it 2-1, and thus stood up as the game-winner despite the Ducks tacking on two late tallies. It took the rookie defenseman eight games to get his first NHL point, but it was an important one.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Makes NHL debut

Theodore made his NHL debut in Tuesday's game against the Flames. The third time proved to be the charm for Theodore, as his first two call-ups didn't result in any time in the Ducks lineup. He only played 15:45 in his first game, but it's doubtful that the 20-year-old will complain about the opportunity in the big leagues. Seeing as how Cam Fowler was just recently placed on injured reserve, Theodore could be in for a few more NHL games on this particular stint. He has 16 points in 27 games this season with AHL San Diego.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Returning to Ducks

Theodore was recalled Monday to Anaheim, Joshua Cooper of Yahoo Sports reports. Theodore has been a major contributor for AHL San Diego, scoring 12 points in 19 games. The 20-year-old has yet to make his NHL debut, but that may change if fellow blueliner Cam Fowler (lower body) is out for an extended period of time.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Returned to AHL San Diego

Theodore has been reassigned to AHL San Diego. Theodore is like a gift that you're not supposed to open until the holiday arrives, yet you cannot wait and unwrap the bottom when your parents aren't looking to see what you have. The 20-year-old has flashed his offensive potential to the tune of 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 19 games with AHL San Diego this season but has yet to make his NHL debut despite getting called up three times already. It's only a matter of time before the first-round pick of 2013 finally draws into an NHL game because the Ducks need help offensively as the owners of a minus-14 goal differential.

    Ducks' Shea Theodore: Rejoins Ducks

Theodore was recalled from AHL San Diego on Sunday. Theodore will provide some depth along the blue line for the Ducks, but considering they currently have seven defensemen on the roster, it could be a sign that one of them is dealing with an injury of some kind. Regardless, it's unlikely that he will stay with the club in the long run.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Sent back down to AHL

Theodore has been returned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday. Theodore was called up for purely precautionary reasons and was returned to the AHL without making his NHL debut. The first round pick by the Ducks in 2013 has eight points in 13 AHL games this season.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Recalled from AHL San Diego

Theodore has been recalled from AHL San Deigo, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Fellow rearguard Josh Manson reportedly missed Monday's game against Carolina due to flu symptoms, so the Ducks have presumably brought on Theodore in case Manson is still illin' by Tuesday night, when the team squares off against the Predators on the second side of a back-to-back. Theodore has yet to make his NHL debut, but there is plenty of untapped potential here as he was the 26th overall draft selection in 2013, and highly regarded for his offensive prowess from the blue line.

Ducks' Shea Theodore: Reassigned to AHL

Theodore was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Monday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Theodore had just been promoted to the parent club Saturday, but didn't get into any game action in his time with the team. The 20-year-old will head back to the minors, but should get another opportunity in the NHL at some point this season.
