Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Tallies goal in loss

Duclair ended a seven-game goalless drought in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to Winnipeg. Prior to scoring with 17 seconds left in regulation, Duclair had gone six games without a point. Though the 20-year-old rookie has faced a bit of a scoring drought, he is on pace for an impressive 41 points. Though he seemed to put his cold-streak behind him, expect Duclair to continue logging bottom-line minutes.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Feeds his friends

Duclair assisted on both Arizona goals -- one on the power play -- in Thursday's 2-1 road win against the Flames. That's now three points in three games for Duclair on the heels of a five-game stretch in which he totaled exactly zero points. The 20-year-old winger has proven streaky in his first full NHL season, so finding fantasy success with Duclair has been all about riding the wave at the right moment. With the whole team gaining confidence and Duclair's production looking ready to ramp up again, we may be in one of those moments.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Will play Saturday

Duclair (illness) will play Saturday against the Islanders, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports. Duclair missed Thursday's game against Columbus due to illness, but was declared "good to go" for Saturday's tilt by head coach Dave Tippett on Friday. The 20-year-old winger has tallied 18 points (10 goals, eight assists) in 30 games with the Yotes this season, and will return to a top-six role in Saturday's contest.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Won't play Thursday

Duclair (illness) won't play Thursday against the Blue Jackets. John Scott will replace the ailing Duclair in the Coyotes' lineup for Thursday's matchup with Columbus. Arizona's next game is scheduled for Saturday evening against the Islanders, so expect an update on Duclair's status ahead of that contest.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Scores twice in loss

Duclair scored a pair of goals and added an assist in Saturday's loss to the Hurricanes. Duclair is now up to 10 goals on the season, as he continues to impress in his first full NHL stint. While the 20-year-old had just one point in his previous eight games prior to Saturday, he now has 18 points in 30 games on the season and should continue to produce as long as he sticks in the top-six and on the power play.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Scores in third straight game Tuesday

Duclair scored in his third straight game in Tuesday's overtime loss to New Jersey, finishing with a nice move off a Max Domi pass. Domi to Duclair has become pretty common early on in the season. The rookie duo hooked up for another goal that sparked the Coyotes' rally to force overtime and claim a point Tuesday. Duclair now has five goals and seven points in six games this season. Now one expects Duclair to keep this torrid pace up, but for now, he's the frontrunner for the Calder Trophy.

Coyotes' Anthony Duclair: Leading red-hot Coyotes to start season

Duclair has three goals and five points in three games for the red-hot Coyotes, who are surprisingly undefeated so far this season. Duclair skated a season-high 15:28 in Wednesday's 4-0 win against Anaheim and appears poised for more playing time after a big performance. He's got a plus-5 rating through three games, and while it's still early, his shooting percentage is a ridiculous 50 percent. The Coyotes resurgence to start this season is largely due to the addition of Duclair and fellow rookie sensation Max Domi into the lineup. Arizona is starting to look legit, so now would be a good time to seriously considering adding Duclair in most formats.

Coyotes LW Anthony Duclair notches assist in season opener

Forward Anthony Duclair notched an assist and finished with a plus-2 rating in his Coyotes debut Friday against Los Angeles. Duclair started the game on the second line, but finished with a team-low 9:06 of ice time. The blue chip prospect will likely be eased into his role with Arizona, but has plenty of potential. The Coyotes made an emphasis on rolling four lines, so as long as Duclair shows steady improvement, his playing time will likely increase. He isn't worth an add quite yet, but worth keeping an eye on.

  • Duclair Scores Twice In First Game Since Trade

News: Anthony Duclair had a pair of goals in Quebec's (QMJHL) 9-3 win over Victoriaville on Thursday.
Analysis: It was Anthony Duclair's first game since he was dealt from the Rangers to Arizona on Sunday. He actually got off to a bit of a slow start once he returned to Quebec after the World Juniors, but his overall numbers (11 goals, 27 points in 21 games) remain very impressive. The speedy winger slots in right behind Max Domi as Arizona's number two prospect.
  • Duclair Traded To Coyotes

News: The Coyotes acquired Anthony Duclair from the Rangers on Sunday, along with John Moore, a first-round draft pick in 2016 and a second-round pick in 2015 in exchange for Keith Yandle, Chris Summers and a fourth-round pick in 2015, reports.
Analysis: While Yandle is the big name in the deal, the 19-year-old Anthony Duclair represents a good young prospect for the Coyotes. Duclair, who notched a goal and six assists in 18 games with the Rangers earlier this season, has been playing with the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League of late. He'll now join the same organization as 2015 World Junior Championship linemate, Max Domi.
