    Analysis: Madison Bowey, the 53rd overall pick in the 2013, was a long shot to make a Capitals squad that boosted its defense corps significantly over the summer by adding Matt Niskanen and Brooks Orpik in free agency. Bowey will look to have a strong season in Kelowna, as well as some experience with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in December, and should get a longer look at next years training camp.
