  • Krajicek makes Flyers debut

News: D Lukas Krajicek played in his first game on Monday against the Flames after signing with the Flyers on Sunday. He had no points in 18:25 of ice time.
Analysis: Krajicek started the season with Tampa Bay, but he played just 23 games and was eventually waived. He didn't want to spend the rest of the year in the minors, so he worked out a buyout with Tampa. Krajicek has never had a 20-point season in his career and has just 70 points (10 goals) in 301 NHL games. He is probably going to help Philly more than Fantasy owners. He still has marginal Fantasy appeal.
  • Krajicek lands in Philadelphia

News: The Flyers signed free agent defenseman Lukas Krajicek to a deal late Saturday night. Krajicek practiced with his new teammates on Sunday and is likely to debut on Monday against the Flames. "He is a guy who can skate, and has experience in the league. You look back to the teams he's played for [and] he played between 17-20 minutes a night, on average," head coach Peter Laviolette told NHL.com. "He's a good pickup for us, especially with some of the injuries we have sustained. He is known as a very good skater. He moves the puck well. He's a two-way defenseman. It will be good to get him in some games and see how he does."

Analysis: Krajicek was a huge addition for Tampa last season when they made an early-season trade with Vancouver. He was one of the few healthy blue liners all season and logged plenty of PT. Still, he is not overly impressive offensively and still has very low-end Fantasy appeal Draft Day.
