    Analysis: Cam Janssen was waived by the Devils at the end of training camp and is strictly an organizational depth player for the team at this stage of his career. The injury will only hurt his chances of making his way back to New Jersey anytime soon.

He split time between the NFL and AHL last season, scoring three goals and recording 22 penalty minutes in 24 appearances for New Jersey.

    Analysis: Coach Pete DeBoer met with the press after practice, indicating that Cam Janssen's injury was a scare more than anything and he still expects the winger to play Wednesday against Ottawa. The few fantasy players who count on Janssen can probably feel comfortable inserting him in their lineups.

    Analysis: Cam Janssen's better known for his goon points than his offense, as his last goal came way back in the 2010-11 season as a member of the Blues. Don't count on more.
