Bruins' Maxime Talbot: Recalled by big club

The Bruins have recalled Talbot from AHL Providence. The 31-year-old, who recorded four assists in three games for Providence, rejoins the B's forward mix, with Chris Kelly out for the season. While Talbot is off the fantasy radar in his projected fourth-line role, he'll provide the Bruins with experience, depth and versatility up front, in the wake of Kelly's injury.

Analysis: Maxime Talbot's first point in the black and gold came in style, as set up Brad Marchand's game-winning goal in overtime. The gritty veteran doesn't offer much in terms of fantasy value (16 points in 65 games), but he could be a nice little x-factor for the B's as they push to secure a playoff spot -- especially since Talbot's done his best work in the postseason, with 39 points in 84 games.
