    • Former Coyote Bolduc Bolts For KHL

News: Alex Bolduc has signed a one-year contract with the KHL's Traktor Chelyabinsk.
Analysis: The 29-year-old Alex Bolduc has appeared in just 65 NHL games over parts of the last seven seasons. Rather than spending most of the upcoming campaign as a depth player at the AHL level, Bolduc decided to make the leap to the KHL, where he'll get to test himself against higher quality competition. If he fares well in Russia, Bolduc could entertain a return to North America in 2016-17.
    • Coyotes Assign Bolduc To AHL Portland

News: Alex Bolduc was assigned to AHL Portland on Saturday.
Analysis: With the return of teammate Joe Vitale, the Coyotes no longer required Alex Bolduc's services. Bolduc has failed to register a point through three games with the Coyotes this season, but has registered 30 points through 37 games with AHL Portland this year.
    • Coyotes' Bolduc Skates Wednesday

News: Alex Bolduc (mid-body soreness) skated on his own prior to Wednesday's practice, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports.
Analysis: The forward is targeting a return to full practice Friday. He's spent the Coyotes' previous four games in the press box.
    • Coyotes' Bolduc Out Monday

News: Alex Bolduc (general soreness) did not travel with the team for Monday's game against the Avalanche, Craig Morgan of FoxSports Arizona reports.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc will now miss his fourth straight game with what has been described as general mid-body soreness. It's possible that he'll be good to go for the team's next contest Saturday against the Lightning, but it's not guaranteed that the 29-year-old goes back to the NHL club when he does return.
    • Coyotes' Bolduc Out Again Saturday

News: Alex Bolduc, who continues to battle general mid-body soreness, will not play Saturday against the Rangers, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc will miss his third consecutive game on Saturday due to the injury. The Coyotes are considering Bolduc day-to-day, but with the return of Joe Vitale (upper body) to the lineup Saturday, the Coyotes might not have much of a need for Bolduc once he creeps closer to full health.
    • Coyotes' Bolduc Out Friday

News: Alex Bolduc, who is dealing with a mid-body injury, will not play in Friday's game against the Sharks, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc is considered day-to-day, and he hasn't been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Rangers. He doesn't have any points through three games this season.
    • Coyotes' Bolduc Dealing With Injury

News: Alex Bolduc is dealing with what is described as a mid-body injury, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: The status of Alex Bolduc -- who has not recorded a point in three games with the big club to date -- is thus cloudy for Friday's game against the Sharks.
    • Coyotes Recall Bolduc From AHL Portland

News: The Coyotes recalled Alex Bolduc from AHL Portland on Thursday.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc earned a call-up by posting 13 goals, 17 assists, and 69 PIM in 30 games with Portland. He will provide some forward depth with Martin Hanzal (upper body) still sidelined.
    • Coyotes Reassign Bolduc

News: Alex Bolduc was reassigned to AHL Portland on Tuesday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc was on track to serve as a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against the Oilers anyway, so the Coyotes just decided to send him back to the minors to pick up playing time. If Lauri Korpikoski (lower body) fails to return after the Christmas break and the team is in need of an extra forward, Bolduc could be summoned again from the minors.
    • Coyotes Recall Bolduc

News: Alex Bolduc was recalled from AHL Portland on Friday, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.
Analysis: Alex Bolduc's standout performance at Portland (nine goals, 11 assists in 24 games) appears to have captured the attention of the Coyotes, who promoted him for the first time this season. He probably won't see much time outside of a bottom-six role, however, limiting the 29-year-old's chances of making a meaningful fantasy impact.
