    Analysis: Pelletier, 26, has three goals and 13 assists in 16 games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch this season. The Newfoundland native played seven games for the Chicago Blackhawks in 2008-09. 26-year-old Bell has four goals and 13 assists with the AHL's Peoria Rivermen so far this campaign. The 6'1, 205-pound blueliner was a third-round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Kana, 22, has six assists in 11 games with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. None of these players have any Fantasy value right now.
  • Pelletier lands two-way deal

    News: The Blue Jackets announced Monday that forward Pascal Pelletier was signed to a one-year, two-way contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
    Analysis: The 26-year-old Pelletier spent the majority of the 2008-09 season with Rockford of the AHL, in the Blackhawks' organization. He totaled 29 goals and 26 assists in 71 games. He was also scoreless in seven games with the Blackhawks. Pelletier has bounced from organization to organization and has never really gotten a chance for full-time NHL duty. He is merely organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.

    News: The Chicago Blackhawks signed Pascal Pelletier to a one-year contract Friday. The 25-year-old center came to the Blackhawks from the Boston Bruins in a July 24 trade for center Martin St. Pierre. Pelletier played in six games last season with Boston. He scored 71 goals in 206 regular-season games with Providence of the AHL between 2005-08.
    Analysis: Pelletier is nothing more than organizational depth and can be ignored in Fantasy.
