    • Ex-Av Gervais Signs With German Team

News: Bruno Gervais signed a contract Monday with Eisbaren Berlin of the German Elite League.
Analysis: A veteran of 418 career NHL games, Bruno Gervais has spent the last two seasons exclusively in the minors with AHL Adirondack and AHL Lake Erie. With the 30-year-old unlikely to earn an NHL roster spot in 2015-16, he elected to head to Europe for what likely amounts to a better financial opportunity.
    • Colorado Places Gervais On Waivers

News: Bruno Gervais was put on waivers by Colorado on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Analysis: He spent all of last season in the AHL where he played 59 games, scored 10 goals, and added 16 assists. Bruno Gervais who has played over 400 games in the NHL, will report to AHL Lake Erie if he goes unclaimed on waivers. The only way he could see time with the Avalanche is if the team falls victim to a rash of injuries. Otherwise, he will have very little fantasy value even in deeper leagues.
    • Avs Sign Gervais

News: Bruno Gervais signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Avalanche on Tuesday, the Denver Post reports. The deal is worth $650,000 at the NHL level.
Analysis: The blueliner spent all of last season with AHL Adirondak, where he racked up 10 goals and 16 assists in 59 games. With 418 NHL games under his belt, he's certainly a candidate to pitch in if the injury bug strikes the Avalanche this season.
    • Flyers' Gervais Clears Waivers

News: Bruno Gervais cleared waivers on Sunday, CSN Philadelphia's Tim Panaccio reports.
Analysis: The veteran blueliner will head to AHL Adirondack to open the season.
    • Flyers Waive Gervais

News: Bruno Gervais was waived by the Flyers on Saturday, Ren Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Analysis: A mainstay on the Flyers' defensive unit with six points but an ugly minus-17 rating over 37 games this season, Bruno Gervais wasn't able to land one of the final spots on the blue line this time around. He provides more experience than most of the defenseman options currently on waivers, which could allow him to land an opportunity with another NHL team.
    • Flyers' Gervais Competing For Roster Spot

News: Bruno Gervais (stomach) has a minus-2 rating through four preseason games.
Analysis: As it currently stands, Bruno Gervais should have the inside track to one of the Flyers' final Opening Night roster spots on the blue line.
    • Flyers' Gervais Needs Surgery

News: Bruno Gervais has a torn stomach muscle and will require surgery.
Analysis: With only six games left in the season, that will end Bruno Gervais' campaign. He'll finish with six points in 37 games and an unsightly minus-17 rating.
    • Flyers' Gervais Scratched Monday

News: Bruno Gervais (undisclosed) was scratched from Monday night's game against Montreal, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Analysis: Bruno Gervais, who sat out the Flyers' previous game Saturday against Buffalo, attempted to participate in the pre-game skate, but lasted only five minutes before getting scratched.
    • Flyers' Gervais Seeing More Ice Time

News: Bruno Gervais' ice time has increased steadily since his season debut in Carolina last Saturday.
Analysis: It appears Bruno Gervais has leapfrogged fellow newcomer Kurtis Foster to join Braydon Coburn on the second line. His mobility and speed are sorely needed on the Flyers' blue line. He is still a non-factor for fantasy purposes but that could change if his average ice time continues to increase from his current 15:47 per game.
    • Gervais Grabs Flyers' Goal

News: Bruno Gervais registered his first goal of the season in Friday's loss to Washington.
Analysis: Bruno Gervais likely won't score too many goals as he is relied upon more to shut down the opposition.
