      News: Gilbert Brule signed a contract Monday with the KHL's Medvescak Zagreb, Murray Pam of The Hockey News reports.
      Analysis: Gilbert Brule will do another tour in the KHL after recording 15 points in 44 games for Yekaterinburg Automobilist in 2014-15. The 28-year-old, who was the No. 6 overall pick by the Blue Jackets in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, last appeared in the NHL in 2013-14, skating in three games with the Coyotes.
    • Coyotes' Brule Has Contract Terminated

      News: Gilbert Brule cleared waivers Tuesday and will officially have his contract terminated by the Coyotes, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.
      Analysis: Though just 26 years old, Gilbert Brule has indicated a desire to retire from hockey, and the Coyotes will grant that wish. If this is indeed his swan song in the NHL, he finishes his career with 95 points and 156 penalty minutes in 299 career games.
