Analysis: Now 28, Mark Mancari hasn't appeared at the NHL level since 2011-12, but at least provides the Panthers with a more offensively-minded wing option. Mancari may remain at the AHL level for now, but the Panthers rank 28th in the league in points and could end up promoting Mancari.
    • Sabres Bring In Mancari

News: Mark Mancari has signed a one-year deal with the Sabres, the team's official Twitter page reports.
Analysis: Mark Mancari, who will turn 27 on Tuesday, didn't record a point in six games with the Canucks last season. He did, however, record 58 points (30G, 28A) in 69 games with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
    • Canucks Re-Assign Mancari

News: The Canucks re-assigned Mark Mancari to Chicago of the AHL on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.

    • Canucks Recall Mancari

News: Mark Mancari has been recalled by the Canucks, the club's official site reports.
Analysis: Mark Mancari will assume the same position he held before being sent down December 22. As such, that likely means fewer than 10 minutes of ice time per game, and not much from a fantasy perspective.
    • Canucks Assign Mancari To AHL Chicago

News: The Canucks assigned Mark Mancari to AHL Chicago on Thursday, according to the team's official Twitter page.
Analysis: Mark Mancari played in three games after being recalled on an emergency basis Dec. 15. He did not record a point with the Canucks, but with 21 (10G, 11A) in 24 games with Chicago, he'll be among the top options next time the Canucks need to add a forward.

    • Canucks Assign Mancari To AHL

News: The Canucks assigned Mark Mancari to Chicago of the AHL on Friday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: Considering the Canucks inked Mark Mancari to a one-way deal in the summer, this comes as quite the surprise. The 26-year-old winger will have to pass through waivers before joining the Wolves.
    • Canucks Land Mancari

News: Mancari agreed to terms with Vancouver on Friday, according to Darren Dreger of TSN.
Analysis: Most importantly for Mancari it is a one-way contract, meaning he will not have to toil in the AHL for another year. He dominated with Buffalo's AHL affiliate in Portland over the last three seasons and is getting the chance he has worked so hard for.
    • Mancari Will Explore His Options

News: It does not appear that the Sabres plan to bring Mancari back, and the 26-year-old will look for a team that will give him a legitimate shot at making their NHL roster, and staying there.
Analysis: A one-way contract would be the best case scenario for Mancari, but seems unlikely despite him averaging nearly 30 goals a season over the past three years with Buffalo's AHL affiliate in Portland.
    • Sabres' Mancari Practices With Big Club

News: Mancari practiced with the Sabres on Tuesday after being recalled from AHL Portland, The Buffalo News reports.
