Sun Life Stadium sprinklers go off in middle of Seahawks-Dolphins game

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

Someone in Miami is apparently taking Buffalo Wild Wings commercials a little too seriously. In the middle of the Dolphins win over the Seahawks on Sunday, the sprinklers at Sun Life Stadium randomly activated and began soaking everyone on the field.

Why did this happen? After all, it's not like the Dolphins are getting beat that bad. Sure the Seahawks have marched down the field twice for long, back-breaking touchdowns. But 14-7 deficit isn't necessarily worth trying to derail the game by activating the sprinklers.

Maybe, as CBSSports.com's Matt Norlander suggested, the field is a living, breathing thing that's angry about the Dolphins' recent run.

Whatever the cause, maybe the Dolphins should do it more often, because a fairly boring game quickly became awesome. Well played, B-Dubs.
