Seahawks DE Chris Clemons (knee) doubtful to return

By Josh Katzowitz | NFL Writer

Seahawks defensive end Chris Clemons is doubtful to return with a knee injury after hurting himself midway through the third quarter Sunday vs. the Redskins.

It was unclear exactly how Clemons was hurt, though it appeared he went down without contact. After grabbing his left knee, Clemons eventually walked off the field under his own power. But he immediately went to the trainer's table to be examined. He has since returned to the locker room.

Clemons recorded a career-high 11 1/2 sacks to go with four defended passes and 40 total tackles during the regular season.
