WATCH: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers knows how to hold a grudge

Aaron Rodgers knows something about holding a grudge. Perhaps it's why we like the Packers to beat the 49ers in San Francisco on Saturday night (in related news: Dave Richard, you won't like Rodgers when he's angry).

In April 2005, Rodgers spent most of the day waiting to get drafted after the 49ers took Alex Smith with the first overall selection. When the Packers finally took mercy on Rodgers 23 picks later, we dubbed the players' draft-day waiting area the "Aaron Rodgers Memorial Green Room" (it was short lived; two years later, it was renamed in honor of Brady Quinn).

We're guessing Rodgers didn't see the humor. Here he is nearly eight years ago, shortly after the 49ers passed on him.

Earlier this season, when the Packers got off to a 2-3 start and critics began to wonder if this just wasn't their year, Green Bay whipped up on Houston on national television. Here's Rodgers' one-syllable, on-field, postgame response to said critics:

Other things Rodgers doesn't like: the term "game manager," Tony Kornheiser and being called short.

We'd add that Rodgers is also motivated by not losing another "You're wearing a 49ers jersey if you lose" bet to Boyz II Men -- except that he backed out of the last one.
