Watch Alex Ovechkin take two laps around the Toronto net
The Washington Capitals lost again on Thursday night, dropping a 3-2 decision in Toronto and falling to 1-5-1. Obviously, that's probably not the start first-year coach Adam Oates wanted. The only positive news was that Alex Ovechkin scored his second goal of the season.
His other highlight came when he skated two complete laps around the Toronto net with Carl Gunnarsson desparately chasing him, all while the other eight skaters on the ice stood around and watched. Then he attempted a pass and turned it over.
It was all captured in .gif form by the folks at DC Sports Nexus.

Ovechkin gets a lot of criticism because he needs a new move instead of always coming down the wing and trying to cut to the middle of the ice, but I'm not sure if this one is going to get the job done, either.
But what a workout for Gunnarsson to stay with him.
