Rob Ryan is well positioned to be the Rams defensive coordinator, but there's no deal yet according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

Ryan, recently fired by the Cowboys, is atop Jeff Fisher's list of candidates and is very interested in the position. But Fisher has been away on vacation and no contract has been finalized yet, the sources said.
