Rams consider Dick Jauron for defensive coordinator spot
The St. Louis Rams have met with former Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills head coach Dick Jauron regarding their defensive coordinator opening, according to a league source.
Jauron was recently let go by the Cleveland Browns despite a strong tenure there as defensive coordinator and brings head coaching experience with him. The Rams originally tabbed Rob Ryan to replace the suspended Gregg Williams as their defensive coordinator, but Ryan and the Rams parted ways last week after a brief tenure primarily over differences in scheme.
Williams' son, Blake, was a primary play caller last season in his father's absence but was not retained.
