Anthony Swarzak faces live hitters
Twins pitcher Anthony Swarzak faced live batters for the first time this spring Wednesday, throwing all his pitches in a 10-minute session.
"It felt good," Swarzak told the Star-Tribune. "I was throwing everything. I still have a little tweaking to do here and there. But it felt good."
Swarzak is expected to begin the season on the disabled list.
"We have to get his arm strength built up before he can do anything for us," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "That is going to take a little while."
