Vikings Injury Report: Adrian Peterson and Jared Allen miss practice but expected to play Sunday

The Vikings' season of good health continues with only RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) and DE Jared Allen (groin) missing practice due to injury.
Both received treatment and rest in preparation for Sunday's home game against the Cardinals. Coach Leslie Frazier said he expects them to practice Friday and be ready to go on Sunday.
S Mistral Raymond, who is rehabbing a bone bruise on his ankle, did more individual drills on Thursday. Raymond is on schedule to return aftre the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game next Thursday night.
CB Robert Blanton (hamstring), LB Marvin Mitchell (calf), CB Antoine Winfield (knee), and RB Matt Asiata (knee) were all limited at practice. QB Christian Ponder (knee) and WR Jerome Simpson (low back) were full participants.
“He's had two good days,” Frazier said of Simpson. “He did everything (at practice) and that's encouraging.”
Frazier said that DL Everson Griffen, who practiced on Thursday, was going to fly to California to attend his mother's funeral Saturday. Griffen plans to return Saturday night to be available for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
