Marion Bartoli earned her spot in Saturday's Wimbledon final -- and it she made it look pretty easy.
Bartoli, the 15th seed, crushed 20th-seeded Kirsten Flipkens 6-1, 6-2 on Thursday and awaited the winner of Sabine Lisicki and Agnieszka Radwanska.
"I played so well today. I was feeling so great," Bartoli told The Guardian after the match. "Obviously, Kirsten had an amazing run, I think she was a bit injured today, but she deserves credit and a lot of respect."
Flipkens hardly presented a challenge, and the injury mentioned by Bartoli is in reference to a medical timeout that Flipkens took late in the match.
By then, though, the match was well in doubt, with Bartoli leading 6-1, 3-0 at the time of Flipkens' break.
