Shades of Gramatica: Soccer player gets hurt celebrating first goal

A Brazilian soccer player followed up the most thrilling moment of his career with perhaps the most humiliating.

Maurides, playing in his first professional game, scored the final goal in Internacional's 3-1 victory over America Mineiro. What happened next, though, left the 19-year-old striker with a sprained knee.

After scoring late in the match, Maurides attempted a cartwheel back-flip sequence that ended poorly. He landed awkwardly, spraining his knee.

This is good news, however, for former NFL kicker Bill Gramatica, who is finally off the hook.

Maurides isn't expected to miss much time.
