Former Olympian Zola Budd appeared at a high school and college cross country meet in Cary, N.C. over the weekend.

Budd was a "guest" runner at the Robert Shumake HBCU Challenge Women 5K, which is comprised of college runners. And the 47-year-old won. Easily.

Posting a time of 17 minutes, 47 seconds, Budd was the fastest woman by a whopping 50 seconds.

“I haven't been running under 18 minutes for quite a while,” Budd said afterwards. “I'm pleased.”

Budd is best known for tripping Mary Decker at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
