San Francisco accidentally directed Nike Marathon complaints to sex line

By Mike Singer | CBSSports.com

Some San Francisco residents were rudely awakened this past Sunday when they heard music blaring at 5:30 in the morning, welcoming the Nike Women's marathon. But that wouldn't be the end of their discomfort.

Unprepared for the noise and commotion, some residents, “some in their bathrobes and slippers,” tried calling San Francisco's 311 line to complain. They were told to call Nike's hotline at (800) RUN-NIKE.

Unfortunately, when disgruntled callers tried to reach that number, they were asked by a woman to “unzip that fly, baby.” The city had inadvertently given out a phone sex line, as opposed to the Nike line, which was actually (866) RUN-NIKE.

Can we make a "Just Do It" joke here? Yes, yes we can.
