Derrick Jenkins experienced the two most gratifying missed free throws imaginable Thursday night.

The 13-year-old eighth-grader from San Antonio has been away from his mother, Lt. Col. Cotina Jenkins-Sellers, for the past eight months while she served as the commander of the 386 Force Support Squadron in Kuwait.

Thanks to some shrewd planning from both teams' coaches, Jenkins was sent to the line for a couple free throws after a bogus technical foul was whistled on the opposing bench.

Jenkins' reaction to seeing his mother again is absolutely priceless.

(Wink of the CBS eye to KSAT-12 TV in San Antonio for the footage.)
