The US men's national team will take on Azerbaijan, Turkey and Nigeria as last-minute tune-ups in May and June, prior to departing for Brazil for this summer's World Cup, Sports Illustrated reported.
The USMNT will train on the West Coast prior to the three friendlies, the first of which will take place in Palo Alto, California on May 27. The next game against Turkey is scheduled for Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. on June 1st. Finally, the USMNT will conclude its send-off series against Nigeria in Jacksonville on June 7th.
Nigeria is the only team of the trio that will take part in the World Cup, which begins on Thursday, June 12 when host Brazil squares off against Croatia. Nigeria is currently ranked 47th in FIFA's world rankings while the US is ranked 13th.

If yesterday's 2-0 loss to Ukraine (18th in FIFA rankings) is any indication, the USMNT needs to sort out its careless mistakes in the back if it hopes to make any noise in the Group of Death.
The World Cup begins in 98 days.
