Half a century ago, people predicted that by this point in the future, the world would be overrun by flying cars and housekeeping robots.
While we may not have attained full Jetsons-status yet, the quantum leaps made in both science and technology have left us with some pretty cool tools. The best part: you don't have to be a multimillionaire, professional athlete to enjoy them. Though, there will probably be a tool to turn you in to one soon.
In the meantime, there are plenty of goodies available for free or at least, a moderate price.
This episode of Live Like an Athlete features two guests who offer them:
George Pyne, President of IMG Worldwide, knows a thing or two about athletes and health. He recently co-founded GamePlan4Me.com, which focuses on educating people on their healthcare options, and features testimonials from the likes of Kobe Bryant and CC Sabathia.
Rony Sellam is the CEO of InsideTracker, a personalized health analytics company founded by leading scientists from MIT and Harvard, whose product is used by both athletes and mere mortals. The platform tracks and analyzes key biochemical and physiological markers and applies sophisticated algorithms to determine personalized optimal zones for each marker.
Get all that? No worries. We explain it all in the podcast.
