In two days, Conor McGregor will be tasked with taking down Nate Diaz inside the octagon. Yet the UFC champ still found some time to focus in on and target another one of his enemies. Even retired boxer Floyd Mayweather couldn't escape McGregor's verbal sparring session during Thursday's press conference for UFC 196.

After all, the title fight between McGregor and Diaz on Saturday will take place at Mayweather's home, the MGM Grand. And that means even if Mayweather doesn't show up to watch, his presence will be felt throughout the venue -- at least, it would've been. Because, apparently, McGregor is planning on demolishing every sign of the undefeated boxer by climbing the MGM Grand and tearing down Mayweather's poster.

"I might go up there and rip it down myself," McGregor said. "And what's he going to do about it? He's going to do nothing. I'll rip it down after this press conference."

(No word yet if he actually followed through.)

The McGregor-Mayweather feud has gone on for quite some time. Last April, McGregor told Esquire that he'd "kill (Mayweather) in less than 30 seconds." Then, in September, McGregor claimed that he was "eye-to-eye" with Mayweather, per MMAJunkie.com. Finally, in January, McGregor challenged Mayweather to a fight. So, it should come as no surprise that McGregor isn't backing down. If anything, those comments should've been expected.

That said, McGregor has a better chance of convincing Mayweather to step inside the octagon than he does of tearing down that poster.
