Diving great Greg Louganis to marry his partner
Greg Louganis, arguably the greatest men's diver of all time, plans to marry his partner this fall.
Four-time Olympic gold medalist diver Greg Louganis plans to marry his partner, Johnny Chaillot, this fall, People magazine reports.
Louganis, 53, told the magazine, “This is what the universe had in store for both of us.”
Louganis won Olympic titles in springboard and platform diving in 1984 and 1988 and finished his career with five Olympic medals. After retiring, he revealed he was gay. In 1995, Louganis said he was HIV-positive.
A mentor to the USA Diving team at last year’s London Olympics, Louganis recently served as a coach on ABC's reality diving competition, Splash.
